Library search for books by laguage

When searching for items in another language than English, we have a few tips!

 

Header: Search Criteria, search for options are: Everything, Articles, (Books, Media and More), NDUS Libraries, and Course Reserves. Select Books, Media and More. Search Filters Any Field contains. Material Type: All Items, Language: Select French or any of your choice.

 

Use the Advanced Search

Select the Books, Media, and More radio button

  1. On the first line enter a " $ " symbol so the system will detect a null value and perform a search
  2. On the right side of the box select the language you want to search for under language
  3. Click Search
  4. On the left side of the results screen, select CFL 3rd floor stacks under Location
  5. Further limit the results as needed
  • Use filters along the left to narrow the list by other criteria 
  • Enter a subject term or topic you want into the second search bar

  • Fiction

  • Short Stories
  • Children's Stories
  • Readers
  • Films
