Library Resources

Reference books, such as handbooks and dictionaries, can be excellent resources when looking for

  • background or introductory information
  • terminology to use as keywords in database searches
  • a bibliography listing other materials on a topic.

In this section is a selection of available reference resources. While the majority of reference print books are in the Reference Collection of the CFL on the 2nd floor, there are some on the 3rd and 4th floors that can be checked out of the library.

Hover over the title for a brief overview of that resource and click on the title to be taken to the listing in the catalog, where you can find more information, such as the call number or how to access the book online.

Below are some of the newest digital additions to the ebook collection. Hover over the title for a brief overview and click on the title to access the ebook. If you want to find additional ebooks or have trouble accessing the ebook, send an email to your subject librarian or immediately ask a librarian using our Ask Us 24/7 chat service.

Need a book that we don't have in the collection? Borrow it using our interlibrary loan service.
