Publishing Strategies

Publish or Perish is a software program that retrieves and analyzes academic citations. It uses Google Scholar and Microsoft Academic Search to obtain the raw citations, then analyzes these and presents them in various metrics.

This book is a companion to the software program Publish or Perish (PoP). PoP was designed in the first instance to calculate citation metrics for a variety of purposes.
