Discussion Questions

Discussion questions are suggestions to start and guide the conversation. The topics may vary based on attendee questions and comments.

Zen and the Art of Menopausal Maintenance

  1. Does this art style remind you of anything? How does it make you feel?
  2. This comic has a lot of things to see on each page. How did you find yourself reading each page? Did you feel pulled around the page or did you read it linearly?
  3. What emotions did the comic make you feel as you moved from section to section?

Climacteric Calamity

  1. What did you think about the use of the term "climacteric" in the title of this comic?
  2. How does the limited color palette invoke the themes of the comic?

Invisible Lady

  1. How might other effects of getting older end up being a bonus instead of a detriment?
  2. Do all feminized people view being "visible" as good when they're younger?
