  • NIH RePORTER - searchable database of National Institutes of Health-funded research and publications. Useful for finding ongoing research
  • Clinical Trials.gov - "a database of privately and publicly funded clinical studies conducted around the world"

 

State Library resources:

State libraries provide free resources (including databases of academic articles) to state residents

  • Iowa State Library - provides state library cardholders with access to various databases, including Gale Onefile, which includes a subsection of Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine resources
  • Minnesota State Library - provides various resources via MNLink, an online catalog with databases organized by topics like "Health and Medicine", which will search academic databases like Academic Search Premier, ERIC, Gale, Health Source, Medline, and ProQuest
