Access after Graduation

Materials checkout

  • Alumni may come into the library and check out Books, DVDs, etc.
  • Alumni may not use the Interlibrary Loan services, rather rely on local or state library services.

Database Access

  • On-Campus: Alumni may come into the library and use any of the library materials and databases within the library.  
  • Off-Campus: Due to vendor license restrictions, alumni are not able to use library databases remotely.

​Find what you want in a library near you with Worldcat, a global catalog of library collections. 

Government Resources
The U.S. Government provides free, credible research on a variety of topics including employment data, job outlooks, and career resources

Open Educational Resources
Contains open educational resources such as free textbooks and articles, including career resources.

Dimensions

Free database for discovering research and measuring its impact, with a general orientation towards STEM fields and the social sciences. It offers better research tools than Google Scholar and doesn't require a university affiliation like Web of Science. You can filter your results to only include open access articles.

 

Utilizing the Library Resources Near You
Visit your local public library or university libraries in your town. Many libraries provide a chat service on their website where you can type your question online and get help.
