What's this? Colorful data displays have popped up across the Chester Fritz Library! Participate in one of our interactive data visualizations by sharing the concepts that have shaped you, marking your height, or voting for your favorite book genre. Displays up until Valentine's Day.

Our "What Made Me" display helps us see what shapes the community of UND. This data visualization includes colored string and a grid of pegs which are assigned words that may have inspired you to think, create, or change. To participate, just grab a string, weave it through the grid of pegs wrapping it around words which have influenced you and tie a knot at the end. When you are finished you will find an intertwined web of what has formed the people of our campus. This colorful, engaging data visualization can be found on the second floor of the CFL directly across from the Knowledge Commons desk.
The 'How Tall is Your Class' data visualization invites UND students, faculty, and staff to to compare heights in a lighthearted, interactive way. Pick a sticker from the bucket that best represents the color of your class, stand with your back to the giant poster/ruler, and place the sticker where your head meets the paper. Step back and look at how all of our heights compare! This display is located on the first floor next to room 108.
Are you a fantasy fan? A horror fanatic? Is romance what makes your heart sing? We invite you to share your love of books at the CFL by voting for one or more of your favorite fiction genres. Take a puffball from the bowl and drop it into a jar labelled with your preferred genre. This display is located on the second floor across from the Tech and Tools display case.
