GOOGLE SCHOLAR includes links to Chester Fritz Library full-text databases, so it is one more way to get access to our journal articles & resources.
Some things to be aware of with the internet, however:
1. You may not find free full-text materials. In those cases, please check to see if we have the materials in the library or order things through our Interlibrary Loan Service. We will see if we can get the sources for you. You do not need to pay. Allow at least 10 working days for arrival.
2. Anyone can publish on the Web--an expert, a journalist, an eighth grader, or a consumer. On our Tutorials Research Guide you can find tutorials to give tips for evaluating the things you find. Google Scholar should be primarily scholarly.
3. Information may quickly disappear or change.
4. Information is not organized & may be cumbersome to sort through. Ask a Librarian to help you find some good resources.
