How We Can Help

What We Do

The staff at the Thormodsgard Law Library assists our students in a number of ways. Here are some of the benefits you can look forward to as a UND Law Student:

  • 24/7 access with your student ID
  • Help conducting legal research from our highly-skilled reference librarians
  • A series of research workshops for those who want to sharpen their legal skills even more
  • Four floors of study space, including two "quiet" floors (the basement and 3rd floor) and two "collaborative" floors (the first and second floor)
  • Individual and group study rooms that may be reserved at the Circulation Desk
  • Online access to a wealth of legal research materials as well as study guides for a huge array of law school courses
  • Student-focused collections such as: Academic Success, Professional Success, and Bar Study
  • Help with computer and other technology-related issues
  • Two printers and a copying/scanning station
  • Display window use for student organizations
