- EBM Focus (DynaMed)Click on orange Sign Up for the EBM Focus newsletter button. Weekly e-newsletter gives concise overview of articles DynaMed editors select “most likely to inform clinical practice” articles. Free CME credits are available.
- Resident Focus (DynaMed)Click on orange Sign Up for the Resident Focus newsletter button to subscribe. E-newsletter written by medical residents to share recent evidence they find important.
- Topic Updates (DynaMed)- Log in to UND's DynaMed
- Create a personal account
- Login to DynaMed and search for topics of interest
PubMed
- EBM Journal Table of Contents (PubMed)1. Register for free My NCBI account if you do not have one, and then follow directions in NCBI confirmation email. Log in if you already have an NCBI account.
2. Search for EBM journals in NLM Catalog
3. Click on box (left of each title) to select journal titles
4. Click on Add to search builder button (right side of screen)
5. Click on Search PubMed button (right side of screen)
6. Click on Create alert link below search box (detailed instructions available in first five minutes of this video) - EBM Topic Alerts (PubMed)1. Register for free My NCBI account if you do not have one, and then follow directions in NCBI confirmation email. Log in if you already have an NCBI account.
2. Type your search topic and then add AND systematic[sb] to your search strategy before searching in PubMed

- Cochrane Library Topic Alerts1. On homepage, choose Advanced Search button (upper right corner)
2. Search topic
3. Click the Save search button on the right side of the Search tab. (It will prompt you to log in or create an account.)
4. Click on Search Manager tab
5. Click on View saved searches button
6. Click on box to select e-mail alert - Trip Email Alerts:1. Create a free Trip account or use your Facebook, Twitter, etc. account login (top right of homepage).
2. Log in to Trip if you are not already logged in
3. Click on your name (upper right corner)
3. Select a clinical specialty (as many as you like) and/or scroll down to the Automated Search box where you can type a custom search. When done, click on the Save Changes button.
