Receive 10% off of regular price clothing, gifts, trade books, and office supples at the University of North Dakota Bookstore and at the Dakota Textbook Company. You can also receive special educational pricing on software. Receive discounts for lodging in North Dakota. Participating motels/hotels will offer the state rate, currently 10% off the standard rate. (When making a reservation, ask if they offer a “state employee” discount.)

Receive graphic design and photography support from the Medical Media unit. Graphic design includes: large format poster design and printing, departmental promotional flyers, and illustrations for research. Graphic design services are provided at no fee to clinical faculty for work-related projects, while photography and printing services are charged at a discounted rate. Receive a $5.00 day pass at the UND Wellness Center. Prior notice is required and can be requested by contacting the Office of Education and Faculty Affairs at or (701) 777-2515. If you plan to use the Wellness Center over the weekend, have your request in by Friday afternoon so your day visitor/parking pass is ready at the Wellness Center upon your arrival.

  • Integrating a learner into office routines
  • Setting expectations
  • Teaching strategies
  • Giving feedback
  • Evaluating learners

‚ÄčThe site provides quick answers to questions that arise during daily interactions with learners. Preceptors can earn up to 14.5 CME credits by reviewing the information on the site. New content is added on a regular basis. An email is sent from the site administrator each month, directing preceptors to that month’s key topic areas.
