NW Med Students

A guide to resources available to 3rd and 4th year UND medical students

Greetings

Greetings!

As a UND medical student, you have access to all the resources UND has to offer plus the services of a librarian that is local to you.

How to find something? How to write something? How to cite something?

The clinical campus librarian is available to help with a variety of requests... Do you have a research assignment and don't know where to start? Maybe you spotted an article in a recent publication! Or maybe you don't know what your resources are.... Not only does the library provide the resources, we also provide the know-how.

Information services offered:

Individual or Group library instruction
Research Assistance
Article Requests - Full Text Provided*
Requests taken by phone, email, chat box, or in person (*Subject to availability)

Third Year Students:

You will meet with the librarian during your orientation session to the Minot campus. Other scheduled sessions with the librarian will focus on what resources are useful to you while learning. Please contact Shannon anytime with questions or for assistance.

Fourth Year Students:

The clinical campus librarian can assist you in your research. You have a great deal on your plate through this final year and it is literally my job to assist you in this process. So, if you have any questions about your academic projects, please do not hesitate to ask for help!
