Saleh Faruque is a Professor in Electrical Engineering and was a 2011-2012 U.S Fulbright Scholar. In addition, the college of engineering and mines of UND awarded him the outstanding professor of the year 2007-2008 and in 2011-2012. During his industrial and academic tenures, he has secured 19 patents, authored 5 books and contributed several chapters in three books. He has published over 90 papers in various technical journals and conference proceedings. He is a life senior member of the IEEE.
