eBooks through Libby (Overdrive)
You can download popular eBooks and audio books from Libby (by Overdrive) by adding the app to your device (or from this website) and signing in with your UND credentials. On the app, search for North Dakota Academic Consortium, then choose the University of North Dakota from the list of libraries. You can have multiple libraries in your account, such as the GF Public Library (included in the North Dakota Digital Consortium) or your hometown library.

- eBook renewalsYou can extend the lending period by renewing it: Find the Renew option on your Loans page (under Loans). You can renew it 3 days before it expires, as long as the CFL still owns a copy and there are no holds.
eBooks through the Library Catalog
Many eBooks are available through our library catalog. Simply conduct a search on the library website and then limit on the left by "Item Type - Online Books" to see which books are available online:
To view the book online, click on the "Online access" link option from your search results list:
If you are off campus or for certain publishers, you may be prompted to login for online access.
eBooks through Library Databases
If you want to see ebooks in a particular subject area, library databases with ebooks can be a great way to browse or search.
- To get to them, use the "Quick Links" from the upper right hand corner of the library homepage. See eBook Collection Subscriptions for the names of specific ebook collections.
- You may also find eBooks in general databases; look for a limit option such as "ebook" or "online book."
